Ky Smart, MA (LCMHC-C pending Board approval)

Ky, or Kylee, is a recent Rivier Graduate with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, holding a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies from George Mason University. Her background has involved a lot of support work with Neurodivergent adolescents and adults in communication, regulation, and school settings.

Kylee looks to work on fostering self-acceptance, building self-esteem, and creating problem-solving habits while embracing LGBTQIA+ identities, creativity, and use of Emotional Support Animals. Ky acknowledges that different things work for different people, which is why their approach is flexible, collaborative, and holistically grounded in your unique experience. Typically combining mindfulness, positive psychology, and CBT methods, with the inclusion of play, arts, and psychoeducation where interests lie.
