Yeney Armenteros, LICSW-C

Hello, my name is Yeney ( Yah-Ney). I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Granite State College. I enjoy working with a variety of clients, but am most passionate about working with children and adolescents. I have ten years of experience working with children, six of which have been in the school setting. I am bilingual and can conduct assessments and therapy in Spanish.

I take a person-centered approach and love doing therapy with children and their families to help them navigate and cope with challenges in their life. I strive to assist clients and their families process emotions and learn coping skills to deal with everyday stressors and decrease symptoms. With the necessary tools and skills at our disposal it is easier to identify triggers, notice warning signs, and find ways to better prepare for oncoming stressors and challenges. My goal is to help children reach their highest potential and to help families live more harmonious and happier lives together. I utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR and trauma focused approaches.
